DraftStreet came out in 2010, and came out big, offering fantasy contests in more sports than any other fantasy site. There are free games available for members who are either trying to learn the system ebfore making a deposit or people who don't like to risk money on their teams. The team at DraftStreet decided to offer not only the largest selection of sports leagues to participate in, but also added several unique scoring and drafting methods.
Salary cap is the standard method for drafting a team, but there are also two more ways of putting together a roster: Snake Draft, and Pick 'em. Snake Draft works by having members work through a round-by-round selection, with the draft order randomised before the match and the order in which players are picked reversed on even numbered rounds. In Pick 'em you are presented with 8 tiers of players, usually consisting of 6-10 players for each tier, and you then form an 8 person team from the tiers.
The game lobbies at DraftStreet seem a little busier than at some other fantasy sites, but a brief glance at the drop-down menus will quickly narrow down the list of players and make it easier to draft a team. Rosters in Salary Cap and Pick 'em games can be changed up until the scoring period starts.
A mobile site has been created and offers the same features as the main website in a good looking, functional format. It went live in July 2012 and has been getting very positive reviews ever since.
